4 Women on a Mission … to raise £20,000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer
And they need YOUR help!
If you're wondering why 4 (not very fit) crazy women in their 40s are planning a
gruelling 9-day trek up Mount Kilimanjaro, it's because they have all been touched
by breast cancer in some way. In 2008, Oxfordshire's Deb Hunt was successfully treated
for breast cancer with surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Debs is pleased to
say she’s now had more surgery, and once again has the full compliment of boobs ...
in plenty of time for the trek!
Now Team Attitude at Altitude is committed to raising £20,000 for Breakthrough Breast
Cancer. You can find out more about Team Attitude at Altitude by visiting the 'About
us' page.
How can YOU help Team Attitude at Altitude reach their goal?
If you’re a UK taxpayer, don’t forget to fill in a Gift Aid form, so for every £1
you donate, the Inland Revenue will give us an extra 28p.
Like to know more about how you can help Team Attitude at Altitude? You can download
some fundraising ideas here. Alternatively you can view the Team's 'Wish List'. If
you'd like more information, contact Deb Hunt now on 07527 229 739 or send the Team
an email.
Wanted - Corporate Sponsors!
As a business owner, manager, or director, your company can help Team Attitude at
Altitude meet their £20,000 target. If you would like to support the Team, visit
the sponsors page to find out what's in it for you!
Why Twin Peaks?
Apart from the obvious ... Team Attitude at Altitude have two challenges … to become
fit enough to take on the 9 day trek up Kilimanjaro's Rongai Route in September 2010,
and to raise a massive £20,000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer!
The Team expect a few more challenges along the way such as:
Where they'll find 4 sparkly pink bras (what the well-dressed trekker will be wearing
on the top of Kilimanjaro next year)
Finding personal Brad Pitt look-alike fitness trainers (FOC of course) to help shape
them up for things to come!
Sourcing solar powered hair straighteners! Trekkers with attitude must look their
best at altitude …
Check out the Team's Wish List to see what else they're going to need - and how you
can help!
Don't forget, Team Attitude at Altitude needs YOUR help now. Pledge your support
by donating online. If you want to know more, you can contact the Team on 07527 229 739
or send them an email.
